What the full day is like

Early morning pickup from San Pedro (around 6 a.m. or 7 a.m.). The day combines multiple altiplanic sites: Piedras Rojas (red volcanic stones beside turquoise Talar lagoon at roughly 4,000 m), Salar de Talar salt flat, Chaxa Lagoon in the Salar de Atacama (lower, around 2,300 m) where three flamingo species gather. Guides Ximena and Sheryl are named repeatedly. Eduardo said "Ximena was an amazing guide...even altered the route for better chances of seeing more flamingos. Breakfast and lunch were also great."
